About Dr. PhD

Professor Blackwood is a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and one of the world's foremost authorities on veterinary neurology and neurosurgery. He established the Neurology and Neurosurgery Service at the Royal Veterinary College, which has become a global center of excellence. His pioneering work on spinal cord injury repair and brain tumor surgery has saved countless animal lives. He has received the BSAVA Bourgelat Award, the WSAVA Scientific Achievement Award, and was appointed OBE for services to veterinary medicine. He advises veterinary programs worldwide and has trained over 100 neurologists.
